Whippet & Buck Stumblebum Exclusive

September 22, 2010

Hurry over to Whippet & Buck and scoop up this week’s Stumblebum exclusive! The High-Waisted black skirt is a modified version of their Victoria high-waisted skirt, without the shoulder straps. It won’t be sold again so get it while you can.

A perfect black pencil skirt is a wardrobe staple, and with the lovely wide waistband this one is just right.  I’m wearing it with Whippet & Buck’s LeLook exclusive, which I have blogged before, the Claven lace blouse in Aubergine this time. I’m wearing it with the Cole boat neck top in black underneath it. I really like this look, the tops fit together really well and you can change the look of your lace top depending on the colour of top you put under.

I’m loving the look of deep rich tones now that autumn is here, and aubergine is one of my favourites. But you could brighten the look of this with a different top underneath, or show some skin and just wear the lace!

Top: Whippet & Buck – Claven Lace Blouse (aubergine)

I love the way you layered the lace over the boatneck. I was worried people would think I was lazy so it’s wonderful to see it being used to create more versatility rather than less. Thank-you so much for the lovely write up. ❤
