Last Hair Fair Post for this year!

4 of my Hair Fair 2011 purchases! I’m running out of time, and so are you!  Run to Hair Fair 2011 before it ends today!

Here I’m showing Raspberry Aristocrat Khloe, Illusory’s Kimmi, and 2 from LeLutka, Knotted Hair and Shoop.

Khloe is kind of like Princess Leia hair, 2 side buns with a side part and all kinds of little wisps.
Kimmi is a cute little pigtails hair with a hud to change the colour of the streak and the bow.
Shoop is a full long hair with a centre part and hairband. My only complaint would be that the hairband is not colour change.
Knotted hair is a casual knotted updo, pulled straight back from the face and comes with a hair base to soften the edges. With lots of soft tendrils around the face so it’s not severe.

Elikatira – 3 new styles at Hair Fair 2011

Elika Tiramisu is one of the best-known hair designers in Second Life, and no matter what she calls her brand, her hair never fails to satisfy. For the 2011 Hair Fair Elika has 3 new styles, and I scooped them all, in the Essentials pack which is my favourite.

Story is a side pony with a colour change tie and a side part. I prefer my hair parted on the side with side swept bangs so I was thrilled with this whole release! With is a casual bun with a colour change hairband and side-swept bangs, and Pretend is a smoothly rounded bob again with side-swept bangs.
(Pretend is kind of like my rl hair on a good day!)

If you head on over and scoop these up at Hair Fair, a percentage of each purchase will benefit Wigs for Kids, which is an amazing charity providing wigs for children who have lost their hair because of cancer treatments.

Fashionably Dead at Hair Fair 2011

Creator Toast Bard of Fashionably Dead always has new and interesting hairstyles at Hair Fair, and this year is no exception. 4 of the new styles are shown here, my personal favourite being Lemonade which is a really cute loosely braided style with a side part and no ties. Sweet Tea (not shown) is a similar style, but with blunt cut bangs.

Crystal’s Yearbook Photo is a casual pony with a big floppy bow that feels very 80s to me somehow! It looks so cute with Chew Your Hair, a strand of hair in the mouth that I think would work with a lot of hairstyles.

Shove It is a short and slightly unkempt style. Boyish and dishevelled, it’s very cute and young looking.
Flying Fortress is pure fun, a short haircut with a leather flying helmet and goggles attached. Post-apocalyptic or retro, depending on your style. Pair it with a long white scarf and leather jacket for that WWI Flying Ace look!

Clawtooth at Hair Fair is Fabulous, Darling!

Bubbles Clawtooth of Clawtooth by Clawtooth has 4 fabulous long hairstyles at Hair Fair 2011!

Darling and Dream Weaver both feature a slightly longer fall on the left hand side, Darling has side-swept bangs, while Dream Weaver is parted on the right with no bangs at all.

Pretty Words is an ultra-long style, with side-swept bangs like Darling, and a second attachment point for the extra long piece. Take it Easy is likewise an ultra long version of Dream Weaver and also makes use of a second attachment point to add the extra length.

RezIpsa Loc – 3 great new Hairstyles at Hair Fair 2011

 

 

RezIpsa Luckstone of RezIpsa Loc has 3 great new hair styles out at hair fair! Ellen and Edith both feature a side braid with a colour change tie. Edith is all braid, where Ellen is a partial braid, with long hair. Helen is a new updo with a huge bun and hair pulled straight back off the face, and a colour change hairband and flower.

I’m showing all three in the colour 4pm which is a nice rich brown. They come with a tattoo layer hair base as well so that you can have a natural soft hairline. With 29 colours to choose from there’s one that will suit you!
